Being a sub-part/extension of Blue Area Islamabad, this project is located 19 minutes away from its older counterpart. For this development, the area of 170 canal is dedicated to commercial developments.

Let’s talk about this, which is soon to be one of the most commercial projects in Islamabad!

New Blue Area Commercial City

Due to the increasing urban population and respective demand for commercialization, in July 2020, the CDA decided to auction all the commercial plots in the New Blue Area.

The core principle for developing the New Blue Area in Islamabad is to finance the government’s Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) and the construction of low-cost housing schemes. Other reasons include creating job opportunities, increasing economic activities, and bringing investments to the city.

“Launching the Islamabad Blue Area multi-billion rupees’ commercial project today. This will not only provide jobs but will also attract investment from overseas Pakistanis. One mega project to be launched in Lahore and one in Karachi soon.”

Imran Khan (Ex. prime minister of Pakistan)

Thanks to CDA for aiming to take this newly-created legacy to other cities in Pakistan.
