Currently, in Pakistan, the literacy rate is 62.3, which shows that 60 million of the population is illiterate in the country. Furthermore, it has recognized the significance of education development across the country, embracing creative approaches and new innovative methodologies with engaging teaching techniques, engagement of students, and nurturing their potential.
On this Teacher’s Day in Pakistan, we will delve into the realm of Real Estate Education. We will focus on and study the teaching methods, highlighting the traditional methods along with the present trending new norm of student-centered teaching method transforming the learning methods to next-level. It is the transcendental learning experience in this vital real estate market.

A good and devoted teacher is always updated with the norms, methods, and teaching techniques. They equip them with effective instructional strategies, which help them to be connected with their students, leading to meaningful learning experiences.
Innovative teaching techniques are:

- Other material to make learning engaging, detailed, and precise enough for young minds to learn effectively.
Teaching in Pakistan was traditionally teacher-centered, relying on textbooks and lectures prepared by the teachers. This had all efforts input by the teachers, ignoring students’ innovation, initial involvement, and active role. Instead, it kept a massive burden on the teachers, giving zero exposure to the students.
Hence, with time and due need of the technological era. The teaching methods also changed from being teacher-centric to student-centric. Now, the teaching methods and styles involve the students. Encouraging them to actively experiment, do critical thinking, and collaborate on ideas by utilizing the material provided by the teachers as the aid to gain practical understanding of the subject matters given.
Moreover, this allows the students to analyze the problems, give solutions, and help them use decision-making skills. Also, it encourages them to master their skills by practically using their ideologies. This allows the students to retain the information taught and exposed to. Along with it equips students with tools to succeed in today’s world.
Types of Strategies in the Education Sector in Pakistan
Usually, several types of innovative teaching strategies are used in class. In Pakistan, these teaching strategies are implemented and religiously used. Some of the examples are mentioned below.

Challenges in the Education sector in Pakistan
RI (Relief International) team held a meeting for the teacher’s community last year. They put forward the significant challenges faced by teachers in Pakistan. Also, they proposed some ways to relieve the institutions with the government’s help to bring innovation, creativity, and better methods in the field of education. The challenges are mentioned below.
- Training of teachers for contemporary educational knowledge should be practiced.
- Teacher’s well-being should be considered.
- Overburdened teaching methods should be revised.
- The latest teaching aid materials should equip teachers for quality education.
Relief International has introduced around 315 Government Primary school teachers per 21st-century interaction and teaching skills. Such trained teachers have helped many dropouts from school institutes and helped retention of students.
Also, they provide on-the-job technical support to teachers and individual coaching. Each trained teacher targets 105 schools across districts like Swabi, Nowshera, and Peshawar.
They have even trained 345 government school teachers with a face-to-face 7-day training on pedagogical skills from the RI team.
Conclusion
The backbone of the country is its young children. Suppose they are supported well so their potential will be utilized to bring in the developing future of the country in the long term. Hence, giving creative, innovative, and cultivating critical thinking skills is the key to developing the capacity to engage the country’s young generation.
The introduction and consistent usage of innovative teaching methods in Pakistan will ensure a teacher has particular commitments in the form of being passionate towards subjects, love for students, pure emotional decisive loyalty, and self-sacrificial affection.
Hence, the conventional “chalk and duster” approach is no longer in demand. Now the motto is “Children need to be given Voice and Choice.”
