A groundbreaking ceremony is a formal event to kick off the construction of a site, marking the official commencement of building a project.
This official setup is arranged after the acquisition of the land and the months or even years of collaborative planning by owners, developers, clients, and contractors.
As technically an architectural custom, this ceremony’s history is rooted in some religious and cultural traditions. The act and the name represent breaking the earth as a sacred endorsement of the future structure.
Before jumping into the ceremonial moments, let us share how Chakor Ventures acquired the land and the respective approvals and grants.
Capital Development Authority (CDA) Approval
In Islamabad, only CDA-approved properties guarantee safe and sound investment opportunities. Finally, Citadel 7 has cleared all the checks and earned a CDA-approved badge.
The best thing is, not only the structure of this high-rise is CDA-approved, but the outdoor parking lot is also approved by the authority.
Land Possession
Alhamdulillah, after a long process of buying the land, checking the legal status, clearing documentation, and acquiring allotment and transfer letters, we have received the go-ahead.
Now, the property of Citadel 7 is under the possession of Chakor Ventures; we are all set to begin the construction process.
Ground Breaking
The ground excavation of Citadel 7, a project by Chakor Ventures, has begun, located in Blue Area, Islamabad. The ground breaking ceremony was held at Citadel 7 construction site on Tuesday, 25th October 2022.
Chakor Ventures organized the event to mark the beginning of its timeless commercial project, Citadel 7.
The event was attended by the senior management of Chakor Ventures, including the CEO, Muhammad Abbas Khan, President Muhammad Asad Khan, Managing Director Muhammad Bilal Khan, General Manager Omer Khitab, and members of the business community.
The celebratory follows a traditional sequence… began with prayers, the ground excavation with a shovel (by our President), the widespread exchange of wishes and hopes, and ended with a short meeting, discussing the future developments.
