OCTOBER 2022
EXCAVATION – DONE
To prepare the site for full-fledged construction activity, our workers started the action by setting up the site, including cleaning and removing debris and hazards. The action follows with the groundbreaking ceremony, preceded by our CEO, Muhammad Abbas Khan, Managing Director Muhammad Bilal Khan, President Muhammad Asad Khan, General Manager Omer Khitab, along with some business aspirants.
SURPASSING INDUSTRY’S STANDARDS
Indeed… from creating trenches to filling holes, soil compression, and arranging diggers, concrete mixers, hammers, and drills, the excavation process at Citadel 7 has been completed in less than a month. The process started on 4th Oct and completed by 6th Nov. 2022.
NOVEMBER 2022
1st Layer Concrete (DPC) - DONE
Once done with the excavation, without any delay, our construction team has started the damp proof course (DPC) – to lock the moisture movement through walls and floors. To damp-proof, we have used rigid materials, including first-class bricks, slate, stones, cement concrete, and others.
EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS!!!
Yes, in just 2 weeks, the site workers (between 24th Nov – 6th Dec) had completed the first concrete layering; the industry standard is 28 days.
DECEMBER 2022
Waterproofing - DONE
To form a barrier over the surfaces of the foundations, roofs, walls, and the overall structure and to prevent water penetrations throughout, waterproofing is done.
According to the research, waterproofing only accounts for 1% of total construction costs but if ignored, it can be responsible for more than 90% of the damage.
Building a Legacy that Lasts
In less than a month (9th to 25th Dec 2022), our construction team has done and dusted with the waterproofing, while the industry standard is a minimum of 3 months.
JANUARY 2023
2nd Layer Concrete (DPC) – DONE
Once done with water-proofing, another round of DPC layering started, to further prevent water intrusion and structural damage and lock the moisture movement. To damp and humid-proof, we have used a mix of concrete.
Bringing our Vision to Life
To bring our vision of Citadel 7 to life, our site workers have completed the second layering in just one month (26th Dec 2022 – 25th Jan ‘23), surpassing the industry-set standards.
