Real estate shows often last two or three days and give developers an ideal chance to grow their brand identity and generate potential clients. It goes without saying that different types of investors and prospective buyers benefit from attending a property expo.
Here, we are cracking some types of real estate attendees attended the last property expo we were a part of. Attending such real estate shows help real estate builders and investors to have a good understanding on the available opportunities.
And yes, it saves time and money attending different real estate launches and open-houses.
Such an event, happened in Dubai, was Pakistan Property Show ’22 by Zameen.com in which Chakor Ventures have participated with its upcoming premium project Citadel 7.
Property Expos and Their Attendees
To crack deals with potential clients’, sales representatives from each real estate developer and builder advertise and disclose all the details about their latest property developments. They share their investment plans, opportunities; some realtors also hire special consultants to close the deals.
The potential buyers and investors will thus have a deeper understanding of all the upcoming projects and be able to decide wisely on their intended commitments.
Clients may then compare the investments’ returns and other securities of all the competing projects, before finalizing their real estate investment decisions. They can book their preferred property right away at the relevant booth.
These real estate expo can be informative to attend and help buyers decide where to invest, but not everyone is there for the same reason.
Here are four types of investors/attendees that we have witnessed at Dubai property expo ’22:
- The window Investor
- The curious one
- The secret agent
- The serious investor
The window Investor - Harmless Real Estate Expo Attendees
Similar to window shopping in retail stores, window real estate opportunity-seekers do not really plan to invest in real estate when they visit a property expo. They visit different booths and ask all the right questions, but there is no real motive or interest in investing in properties.
These individuals may be hard to spot because they will be eagerly visiting each stall, ask so many queries, of the the relevant ones, and also show interest in investing in real estate; however, they are quite harmless!
The Curious One - Informative Real Estate Expo Attendees
Yes, many individuals we have witnesses at Dubai World Trade Centre, who were eager to learn about the real estate investment in Pakistan and other propositions.
They were quite keen to stay up-to-date with the industry and get familiar with the latest technologies being used by builders and developers.
They are not actively looking to make an investment; however, if interested, the curious one may turn into a buyer.
The Secret Agent - Planted Real Estate Expo Attendees
It should come as no surprise that the property development and real estate industry is very competitive. Thus, real estate developers are always looking for ways to make their projects stand out.
Often, the best way to do this is to be aware of the changing dynamics of the market and its latest developments, especially what are competitors up to. Property expos are excellent opportunities for those in the real estate industry to see where they stand in the market.
Thus, we have also been visited by such investors, who were pretend to invest, especially in Blue Area Islamabad, where our latest project Citadel 7 is developing. They were to get a better insight into how are their competitors venturing into the market.
The Serious Investor - Potential Real Estate Expo Attendees
Okay. This is serious business. Such individuals were at Pakistan Property Show with the intention of leaving with an investment or at least being sure of what project they will be investing in the future.
These people are not hard to find but hard to crack, as they’re ready to invest in projects but want utmost security and safety for their investments.
The easiest way to spot serious clients is by the questions they ask at the booth. If they keen to exchange contact details, et ready to become a marketing magnet for them.
How Successful Was Pakistan Property Show 2022?
For us, it was a great success, as we cracked a couple of deals, a big list of mixed leads, and of course, a right platform to create a buzz about our upcoming project – Citadel 7. This project is located in Blue Area Islamabad.
