To accommodate unforeseen situations, the basement will have 33,000 gallons of water reserved, and the rooftop will have 5000 gallons reserved. The fire suppression systems will also have efficient air release valves to accommodate any emergency or uncertainty.

Solid Waste Management

Citadel 7 has included prime sustainable structures with systematic solid waste management. It includes daily solid waste generation, handling, and maintenance. It will dispose of 70kg/Day of waste to recycle and inert waste to scrap dealers. 

Project’s design management will install three bins in each office space to systematically sort waste materials such as paper, cardboard, and metals. Corporate offices typically generate significant daily waste that can be conveniently recycled and sold to vendors.

The project has a well-maintained daily waste collection procedure for each office room.

Sewerage System

We estimate the project’s water demand at 45,000 gallons per day, while the building’s sewerage output is approximately 36,000 gallons per day. We will properly drain this wastewater into the CDA’s sewerage line to ensure systematic and timely discharge.

Water Storage and Supply

The project has the best-designed water supply that efficiently works within the prescribed limits. CDA is responsible for monitoring the water supply usage and minimum requirements. It has a fire reserve tank, an underground water tank, extra water storage on the 5th floor, and an overhead water tank. The water supply is within monitored parameters, reducing wastage.

  • Vehicular traffic on unpaved tracks will be avoided as far as possible, and the track will be sprinkled with water to control dust.
  • Construction machinery and generators will be tuned appropriately, and maintenance will occur periodically.
  • Electrically operated construction reduces air emissions, and construction material handling machinery (such as cranes) will be procured.
  • Fugitive dust emissions will be minimized by spraying water on the soil, where required and appropriate.

Land Clearing, Levelling, Grading, Excavation & Filling

  • Vehicular traffic on unpaved tracks will be avoided as far as possible, and the track will be sprinkled with water to control dust.
  • Construction machinery and generators will be tuned appropriately, and maintenance will occur periodically.
  • Construction material handling machinery (such as cranes) will be procured, which are electrically operated to reduce air emissions.
  • Fugitive dust emissions will be minimized by spraying water on the soil, where required and appropriate.

Construction Activity & Usage of Generator

  • Construction equipment and vehicles will have exhaust mufflers (silencers) to minimize noise generation.
  • Appropriate machinery and workforce will be used to optimize construction that reduces noise and vibration.
  • All construction machinery and vehicles will undergo periodic maintenance to ensure smooth running.

High-Rise Construction Activities

  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification.
  • The generator will be protected; fire extinguishers will be provided.
  • Diesel storage activity will never be allowed near generators, and the proponent will provide concrete blocks as drip trays for the generators.
  • Workers will be provided with proper and appropriate PPEs.
  • A dedicated HSE Officer will give toolbox talks at the start of any new construction activity.
  • Harnesses will be available for the workers working at heights.

  • The proponent at the site office will maintain and regularly inspect the complaint register.
  • There will be a dedicated arrangement for sanitation (proper washrooms). 
  • Prefabricated toilets along with a septic tank for the usage of workers.

Land Clearing, Land Levelling

  • The project site does not have any trees and has minimal growth of some shrubs.
